Microsoft has recently launched two new Windows Phone 8.1-based smartphones, the Nokia Lumia 530 and Nokia Lumia 530 Dual SIM. The global Microsoft site has placed both smartphones as Nokia Lumia 530 and Lumia 530 Dual SIM. It is rumored that both the devices will be available in vibrant orange, bright green, dark grey and white color variants, while both devices will sport changeable shells.
As mentioned earlier, both the new Lumia handsets will run on Windows Phone 8.1 with Lumia Cyan update and support firmware over-the-air updates. The Lumia 530 and Lumia 530 Dual SIM comes with identical features and specifications, except that the latter supports dual-SIM functionality.
The features of Lumia 530 includes 4-inch FWVGA 480×854 pixels LCD display that offers pixel density of 246 ppi. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 besides 512MB of RAM. It sports a 5-megapixel fixed focus rear camera and comes preloaded with digital camera add-ons such as Bing vision, Nokia Camera, and Nokia Glam Me.
The other specs of Lumia 530 smartphones include 4GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable up to 128GB via micro SD card. The Lumia 530 and Lumia 530 Dual SIM, similar to the other Lumia handsets, come with 15GB free One Drive cloud storage space. The smartphones measure 119.7x 62.3x 11.7mm and weight 128 grams.
The company has announced reasonable price tags (excluding tax and subsidy) for both the smart phones. The price of Lumia 530 Dubai and price of Lumia 530 Dual in Dubai will be economical and feasible for masses.
To mark the launch of the Lumia smartphones, the Corporate Vice President of Microsoft Devices Group claimed that they are moving quickly to help more people experience the uncompromised Lumia technologies, third party apps, and Microsoft services that deliver the flagship products. Lumia 530 underlines the pledge to make affordable smartphones for everyone, and introducing more people to the best of Microsoft. Both the devices are available in August 2014 in selective markets throughout the UAE.
