LG has officially introduced its upcoming flagship device, LG G3 Beat at the Tianyi Phone Trade Exhibition in China. The device is rumored to be called the LG G3 mini when it reaches the global market. The device has boasted the G3 branding as it is quiet similar to the original G3’s faux metal back. It has given a new dimension to what we call a ‘mini’ variant of a Smartphone.
The launch of LG G3 Beat is rumored to be smaller than the current LG G3 flagship, and will bear the model number of LG-D729, featuring 5.5 inch screen display that maintains a thin light that separates a Smartphone from a phablet. It will have a resolution of 720 x 1280. A quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm with Snapdragon 400 is under the cover and the phone will possess 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage inside. The weight of the back camera will be 8MP, powered by a 2300mAh battery.
Following the strategy of Samsung that comes up with new variations of its flagship devices based on various feature sets. The G3 Beat can be named as G3 mini as it does not possess any specific feature that distinguish it, for instance the rugged properties or high speed photography capabilities other than the name of G3. The model number LG-D728 fits perfectly with rumors and leaks about the D722 and D725. The device will feature a signature faux brushed metal cover and rear button controls of LG G3.Among other features on the LG G Beat it will have the support for the Quick Circle case that facilitates the users to select certain features of the phone to function, even if the case is closed.
So far there is no official word regarding the availability or pricing for any version of the LG G3 mini or the LG G Beat. The LG website recently reveals that the LG G3 mini will be available in the U.S. with the model number of LG-D725. The launch of LG G3Mini will roll out the Asian markets starting from June 27 in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, and the Philippines, followed by the rest of Asia, Europe and the Middle East. The LG G3 Beat price in Dubai is still not officially declared and it is expected to be revealed at the launch time.
