Google Nexus 8 is Google’s next Android tablet followed up by Nexus 7. The upcoming gadget has sparked widespread rumors and speculations about its features & specs and the release date. It is most likely believed that the world will see the exact shape of Nexus 8 in July 2014.

There is a lot of buzz and speculations about the expected features and specs of Google Nexus 8, there is a possibility that the device will have advanced software and two back cameras with infrared depth sensors that is capable of capturing three-dimensional (3D) images of the objects. It will encompass a combination of hardware and software, a new version of Android. It is still not official whether the device will have KitKat version 4.5 or 5.0 rumored to be called Lollipop. Nexus 8 will feature the Intel’s Moorefield clocked at 2.33GHz with a 64-bit processor instead of a Power VR G6430 GPU with Qualcomm and its most reliable Snapdragon chips. The device is expected to follow the iPhone 5s lead with these specs. The device will not come in 7 inch display according to rumors, but will be larger than Nexus 7.
The rumors about Nexus 8 suggest that Google has partnered with Asus for the production of both Nexus 7 versions for the online search giant. The reports suggests that Google is no more following this strategy and shifted to HTC, which has comparatively limited experience in this field. Earlier Google will be tipped to be partnering with LG for its flagship Nexus 8 tablet.
The Google Nexus 8 is highly expected to compete aggressively with iPad mini, Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0, and LG G Pad 8.3. The question still prevails, who will actually make Nexus 8?

We have not learnt much about the rumors on price of Nexus 8. It will have new modified features and specs and will give tough time to rivals as it does not make money on hardware.
